The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UWL) is a public university located in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Founded in 1866, UWL is the second-oldest university in the University of Wisconsin System. UWL offers over 100 undergraduate and graduate degree programs, and has a student body of over 11,000. UWL is home to the La Crosse Center, a 10,000-seat arena that hosts sporting events, concerts, and other events. UWL is also home to the La Crosse Loggers, a minor league baseball team.
