The University of California, Irvine Program in Public Health, now the Joe C. Wen School of Population and Public Health within the Susan & Henry Samueli College of Health Sciences, is dedicated to advancing health equity and improving community well-being across the globe and locally. Adopting a multidisciplinary approach, the school addresses complex health challenges through comprehensive undergraduate and graduate education, impactful research, and active community engagement. Its transition to a school in July 2024 marked a significant milestone, establishing it as the first public health school in Orange County and the newest in the UC system, poised to train future leaders and drive innovative solutions in population health.
